If these are the best technology, why didn’t my audiologist mention them?
Most hearing care clinics in Australia are owned by hearing aid manufacturers, including Audika, Connect Hearing, Attune, and Bloom Hearing. As you can expect, audiologists at these companies are implored to prescribe their own brands. Other hearing care networks, including Specsavers and Amplifon, are owned by global healthcare multinationals. Such networks have “exclusivity” deals with other hearing aid manufacturersSo, if you’re being seen at these hearing centres, you’ll probably be redirected towards solutions and brands that make the most money for stakeholders, regardless of whose technology is currently the world’s best.
In contrast, True Hearing is family-owned and independent. We’re committed to working with all leading manufacturers to ensure that our clients get the best possible outcomes.
How do your free trials work? Are there any costs?
1. FREE Consultation and Hearing Assessment: We will arrange a FREE hearing assessment, consultation, and fitting at a time and location that is most convenient. While not compulsory, it would be great if you could bring a family member or friend, as they can undoubtedly offer additional information, and a familiar voice can really help in both hearing tests and the fine tuning of your hearing aids.2. Fitting: Following your hearing assessment, you will be fitted with technology that is most suited to your hearing needs, lifestyle, budget, and preferences. While trials will be limited to models worn behind the ear, you’ll later be able to purchase a style that sits within the ear and is custom-fitted to the unique shape of your ear canal.
3. Free, 2-week Trial: Following a short session to familiarise you with the functions of the hearing aids, you will then be able to walk out with your hearing aids on and try them out for up to two weeks as you go about your life.
4. Decision Time: You are under no obligation to keep or purchase hearing aids at the end of your trial. If you want to keep them, great!!! We’ll make any adjustments to make them sound even better.
5. Gold-Standard Aftercare: You will also have access to 3-years of fittings, clean & checks, and minor repairs at no extra cost. This is all part of our Gold Standard Aftercare Package.

How much do they cost?
Genesis AI comes in a range of hearing aids to suit individual budgets and needs – and your costs will vary greatly depending on:1. Whether you need one or two hearing aids
2. The level of technology chosen
3. Style of hearing aid
4. Your eligibility for financial assistance from the government (e.g. Workers Compensation and Hearing Services Program).
